How can you know God's will? It's the question of the ages.
When God walked in the garden with Adam and Eve they communicated personally. Nothing separated them; nothing hindered their interaction. There was no uncertainty about His will because He conveyed His desires to them face-to-face. But the moment sin entered the world mankind became separated from God.
